Lifetime Limited Warranty Coverage
ShoreHitch, LLC (“ShoreHitch”) warrants to the original retail purchaser that ShoreHitch-branded products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use for the lifetime of the product, subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations set forth below.
For purposes of this warranty, the “lifetime of the product” means the period during which the original purchaser owns the product, excluding normal wear and tear.
This is a limited warranty, not a guarantee against all failure or damage.
Definition of Intended Use
For purposes of this Limited Lifetime Warranty, “intended use” means use of the ShoreHitch product solely as designed and marketed by ShoreHitch, in accordance with all provided instructions, manuals, and guidelines, and only for lawful recreational or marine-related anchoring and shoreline securing applications.
Any use outside of ShoreHitch’s documented instructions or reasonably foreseeable marine applications — including but not limited to commercial use (unless expressly authorized), load ratings exceeding specifications, or use as a safety, rescue, or load-bearing device — shall be considered misuse and void this warranty.
Remedies
If ShoreHitch determines that a product is defective and covered under this warranty, ShoreHitch will, at its sole discretion, do one of the following:
- Repair the product, or
- Replace the product with the same or a comparable product, or
- Provide a refund of the original purchase price.
This shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available under this warranty.
Exclusions & Non-Covered Conditions
This warranty does not cover, and ShoreHitch shall have no responsibility for, any damage, defect, or failure resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper installation, setup, or use
- Failure to follow ShoreHitch instructions or guidelines
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or impact damage
- Modifications, alterations, or unauthorized repairs
- Use with incompatible equipment or accessories
- Improper storage, maintenance, or care
- Environmental or external conditions, including but not limited to corrosion, extreme weather, salt exposure, UV exposure, or acts of nature
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality (including scratches, fading, or discoloration)
- Lost, stolen, or discarded products
- Products purchased secondhand, used, or from unauthorized sellers are not covered.
Eligibility & Proof of Purchase
This warranty:
- Applies only to the original purchaser
- Is non-transferable
- Requires valid proof of purchase from ShoreHitch or an authorized retailer
Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, the purchaser must contact ShoreHitch Customer Support and provide:
- Proof of purchase
- A detailed description of the issue
- Photographs and/or video evidence of the alleged defect
- ShoreHitch reserves the right to require the product to be returned for inspection prior to approving any claim. The purchaser is responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this express limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShoreHitch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, loss of time, or damage to other property, arising out of or related to the use or inability to use the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
No Other Warranties or Representations
No employee, agent, dealer, or reseller of ShoreHitch is authorized to modify this warranty or make any additional warranties on behalf of ShoreHitch.
This warranty constitutes the entire warranty agreement between ShoreHitch and the purchaser.
Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Choice of Law & Jurisdiction
This Limited Lifetime Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this warranty shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States.
Force Majeure
ShoreHitch shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under this warranty resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, extreme weather events, fire, flood, war, terrorism, labor disputes, governmental actions, supply chain disruptions, or failures of utilities or transportation systems (“Force Majeure Events”).
Severability
If any provision of this warranty is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
